KayDee Homes recognises that most looked after children and young people have not been on holiday or even a few days aways from home having fun. KayDee Homes has access to two holiday homes at Tattershall Lakes Country Park, Lincolnshire for our young people to have the opportunity to experience a holiday/ ‘staycation’.

We have luxurious, fully furnished six and an eight berth lodges with lake views, access to the pool, spa, activities, gaming and bars and restaurants.

Kay Marston is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in supporting vulnerable children and young people. With a strong background as a qualified social worker, Kay has worked within local authority and court teams, gaining valuable expertise in advocating for looked-after children during court proceedings. Her role in these settings has provided her with a deep understanding of the complexities and challenges faced by children in the care system.

Kay has also worked extensively with children and young people who have experienced neglect, abuse, and trauma. Her compassionate approach has been instrumental in supporting individuals struggling with emotional and behavioral difficulties, as well as mental health challenges. Her ability to connect with and advocate for these young people has been a hallmark of her career.

In addition to her social work experience, Kay is the owner of supported accommodations for young people aged 16+ and 18+. Through these services, she provides safe, nurturing environments where young individuals can develop independence, receive guidance, and access the resources they need to build brighter futures.

Dionne Mundle

Exploitation Co-ordinator and Complaints Lead

Dionne is a qualified Youth Justice worker that has over 10 years of experience working with and supporting vulnerable young people in and out of a supportive housing setting. Dionne has worked with young people affected by sexual and criminal exploitation, trafficking, modern slavery, domestic violence and abuse, and the criminal justice system in and amongst many other areas; each with their own challenges.

Dionne has a proven track record of developing innovative initiatives to address the needs of at-risk populations. Notably, Dionne developed and coordinated the RAiSE project in Nottingham, an exploitation-specific program aimed at supporting individuals aged 13-25. Through this project, she delivered intensive one-to-one sessions and group workshops, equipping young people with the tools and knowledge to navigate challenges and reduce their vulnerability to exploitation.

Registered Home Manager

Chantelle has 25 years of experience, working within residential children’s home settings, and supported accommodations for 16+. Chantelle has taken on leadership roles, overseeing the day to day functioning of a home.

Chantelle’s experience includes but not limited to

A) delegating tasks to staff

B) putting together support/care plans

C) attending meetings

D) offering 1:1 support to staff to further develop them

E) facilitating family group meetings F) doing key worker/life skills sessions

F) overseeing health and safety within the home.

Chantelle has experienced with working with vulnerable challenging children, who have been through significant trauma. She is familiar with social care practices and legislation, safeguarding processes, and risk management strategies.
